Paul Davis on X (Twitter), and checking claims you see there

This page points to Paul Davis's listed account on X, offers neutral searches, and lets you post or download a sourced fact from this archive. It is not affiliated with Davis, any campaign or X Corp.

His account

Ballotpedia lists @PaulDavisKS as Paul Davis's account on X, and the same handle appears on his 2014 campaign literature. ProPublica's Politwoops project, which tracked deleted posts by politicians, also followed it. We could not confirm whether the account is still active as of November 8, 2026, because X does not allow automated reading. Treat any post as his only if it comes from that verified handle, and check the date: many of its posts date from the 2014 and 2018 campaigns.

This archive is not that account and has no connection to it. We do not post on Davis's behalf and cannot pass messages to him.

Checking political claims you see on X

  1. Find the original date. Ads and clips from 2014 and 2018 recirculate. A claim about "the governor" or "the tax cuts" may refer to Kansas in 2012, not Washington.
  2. Look for the primary record. Results come from the Kansas Secretary of State, money from the FEC, votes from the Legislature's journals. Our sources page links the ones we used.
  3. Check whether it was fact-checked. PolitiFact reviewed at least one major 2018 ad about Davis and rated it Half True; the details are on the elections page.
  4. Read two outlets. The Lawrence Journal-World, the Kansas News Service (KCUR, KMUW, Kansas Public Radio), WIBW, KSNT and the Topeka Capital-Journal all covered his races directly.
  5. Watch for screenshots. A screenshot of a post can be edited. Open the post itself on the account.
