What we collect
Nothing on purpose. The site is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and its fonts are served from this domain rather than a third party.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, for security and abuse prevention. We do not use them to profile visitors.
The share-a-fact tool
The card builder on the X page runs in your browser. Text you type and images you download are never sent to us. If you click "Post on X (Twitter)," X receives the text you chose to share, under X's own privacy policy.
If you email us, we keep your message only as long as we need it to answer you or to document a correction. We never add anyone to a mailing list or share addresses.
Outbound links
Pages link to news outlets, Ballotpedia, the FEC and other sources. Those sites have their own privacy practices.
